Consumer Confidence Grows
The
Consumer Confidence Index improved in December. The index increased 3.7 points to 109.0 in December compared to 105.7 in November. The index is compiled monthly from a survey of 5,000 U.S. households. A rebound in consumer outlook may be a sign that the national housing slump is rebounding also.
