The summer sales season has been good in our area. We saw a much better summer than in years past. With the expected rise in interest rates, it is an excellent time to buy in our market. Home prices are still very affordable and prices are stable.
Huntsville AL and Madison County saw an decrease of 4.5% in the number of sold homes in July when compared to June 2015. The average list price decreased by 1.9% to $202,470 and the average sales price decreased 1.9% to $198,204. The average days on the market decreased by 3 days or 3%.
