Green U Home and Health Initiative - Festival for the Environment
Green U is a one day Family-Friendly Festival for the Environment!
Saturday, August 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m at the Huntsville Botanical Garden Grisham Pavilion
Come on down and hear guest speakers teach how our community can become more ecologically friendly. Regional businesses specializing in “green” products and services will be on hand to educate and demonstrate their offerings. Participate in a variety of workshop and hands-on events to learn how to "be green." Local schools will also be involved with projects, stories, games, contests and demonstrations. Admission is $5 or 5 of the following recyclables:
- Aluminum cans
- Plastic bottles with lids separated
- Computer electronic components
- Any part of the computer or any devices that plug into the wall such as lap top computers, wiring and accessories
- New or gently used cloth diapers
